The following is a listing of some of the scriptures which pertain to music.  Music is a major theme of the Bible.  In the past, the present, and the future, music is an essential part of godly life, a wonderful spiritual tool.

 


Genesis

 

4:21     And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

31:27   that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp

 

Exodus

 

15:1     Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord
